Society For Islamic Education – a non-profit voluntary organization was established aiming to promote Science & Modern Education among the marginalized people who are traditionally backward in this field of education.

Sishu Bikash Academy, the brain child of this society, came into existence in the year 1985 at Village – Chakberia-Mokrampur More, Post – Kustia, P. S. – Sonarpur, District – South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. It is a residential & co-educational school. Students irrespective of caste, colour & religion have been enrolled as regular students of this school.

Sishu Bikash Academy has got its Primary Section beginning from Nursery to Class IV, and it is recognized by West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

Sishu Bikash Academy has got its Secondary Section beginning from Class V to Class X which is recognized by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (Index No. – C1-426) as self-financed, co-educational high school. (Recognized in the year 2003)

Sishu Bikash Academy has got its Higher Secondary Section consisting of Class XI & XII which has been recognized by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (H. S. Code – 02321) as self-managed, co-educational H. S. School having Arts, Science & Commerce Sections. Subjects of Studies as approved by H. S. Council are : English, Bengali, Arabic, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Application, Geography, History, Education, Political Science, Philosophy, Economics, Eco-Geo, Accountancy, Business Organization. (Recognized in the year 2006).

Sishu Bikash Academy has obtained Minority Status under Art. 30 of the Constitution of India as declared by National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Govt. of India. (Declared in the year 2007)

Sishu Bikash College of Education- a self-financing, minority B. Ed. College came into existence in the year 2010 having been Recognized by NCTE & Affiliated with CU and now WBUTTEPA.

Sishu Bikash College of Education- a self-financing, minority D. El. Ed. College came into existence in the year 2017 having been Recognized by NCTE & Affiliated with WBBPE.

In addition Muslim Boys & Girls have got opportunity to learn Arabic as a language of Islam through Madrasah-Tul-Mokarrama which has been run under the patronage of Society For Islamic Education.

The aim of our society is to provide quality education through our school and college so that the students can meet up the challenge in future competition.
